Other Projects and Publications

This section includes other projects that may still fall into the umbrella of Public Value. In the end, what I try to do with my work is to add a little bit of value by raising issues that governments can address to help improve our lives: support entrepreneurs / watch out for what banks are doing with credit cardholders / look at the very much unpredictable impact of disproportionate minimum wage hikes. I have decided to not add any of my older work in the field of cyberanthropology and digital business. I moved away from them as research fields and only use them when I do consulting and workshops.

Ongoing Projects:

Visual Storytelling and Entrepreneurship: world building trough SenseMaker and Ai-generated content

Together with colleagues from Singapore and the US, we collected many compelling stories from entrepreneurs while they were facing the COVID Pandemic. We are using the powerful SenseMaker tool (all our admiration and gratitude to Dave Snowden on this one!) in order to capture weak signals that we wish to transform into policy recommendations. 

Minimum Wage hikes in Latin America: impact and implications

Together with three colleagues, we are exploring the impact on employment of a surprising increase of the Colombian minimum wage of > 10% during the COVID19 pandemic. Did it lead to more unemployment? Our preliminary data point to a heterogenous effect depending on the sector.
